After a 10-1 start, the Philadelphia Eagles fell apart down the stretch. They went 1-5 in their final six regular season games and lost the NFC East lead as well as the No. 2 seed in the process. They were then sent home at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs.

Once the season ended, they got to work trying to get things corrected. They said goodbye to defensive coordinator Sean Desai and offensive coordinator Brian Johnson. Replacing them will be Vic Fangio and Kellen Moore, respectively.

Now with their staff figured out, the Eagles need to address a few holes on their roster. Here, we look at three dream targets they can try and trade for, who would put them back in the driver's seat in the NFC.

3. Jahlani Tavai, LB, New England Patriots

Jahlani Tavai was originally a second-round pick of the Detroit Lions back in 2019 when Matt Patricia was their head coach. He had 58 tackles in each of his first two seasons in the league but was released ahead of the 2021 campaign after Patricia was fired. The two were reunited in New England, which is where Tavai has been ever since.

Tavai now enters the final year of his contract with the Patriots and is coming off a 110-tackle campaign. With one year left on his deal, New England could look to move on. They're currently in the middle of a rebuild and might not want to pay a linebacker.

That could lead to yet another reunion with Patricia on the Philly staff as a senior defensive assistant. The Eagles struggled at linebacker in 2023 and have several players hitting free agency. Landing Tavai as a replacement could be a major win for them.
