Howie Roseman, Nick Sirianni and the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles' brass face the unenviable task of trimming the 90-man roster to a final group of 53 prior to Tuesday's 4:00 PM NFL deadline.

After another promising draft class, the organization experienced in influx of young talent that will naturally push some veterans off the roster. Just two years removed from a narrow Super Bowl loss, the Eagles are determined to shrug off 2023's disappointing early playoff exit and put themselves back in a position to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

Some former players have already been cut by opposing teams with more to come. With that in mind, let's take a look at some Eagles who will likely be cut over the next 36 hours.

10. John Ross, WR

Once Philadelphia traded for former Commanders first-round pick Jahan Dotson, the writing was on the wall for 2017 Bengals first-rounder John Ross. He's making an honorable attempt at an NFL comeback after having not played in a game since 2021, showcasing some of the unique speed that made him such a coveted prospect coming out of Washington.

Unfortunately for Ross, injuries and inconsistent production derailed his career. He's missed time this preseason in concussion protocol, likely spelling the end of his chances to make the team. That being said, Ross is an excellent candidate to make the practice squad and could see playing time in the regular season should injuries arise.

His best season came in 2021, catching 28 passes for 506 yards and three TDs in Cincinnati. Ross averages 15.4 yards per catch for his career and is a talented deep threat. With so many talented receivers already on the roster though, it's hard to envision Ross sneaking onto the team.
