Jalen Hurts Has No Excuses Left After Big Eagles Week 6 Injury News
The Philadelphia Eagles are back in action on Sunday when they host the Cleveland Browns. The Eagles are 2-2 while the Browns are crawling into this bout on a three-game skid.
It was tough sledding in the Eagles' last contest, falling 33-16 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They were without multiple starters on offense but that won't be the case on Sunday.
Eagles News: Philadelphia is Getting Three Starters in Week 6
According to Tim McManus of ESPN, receivers A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith along with tackle Lane Johnson were all practicing on Friday. That is a great sign that all three guys will be suiting up on Sunday.
The Eagles have already opened up as 9.5-point favorites, as they should be able to handle business against the reeling Browns.
As for Jalen Hurts, he has no excuse not to produce. He's going to have his full collection of weapons at his disposal, so there will be no reason for him not to be stellar.
Over the last two weeks, Hurts has 469 passing yards, one passing touchdown, one interception, and ten sacks taken. The Eagles have had time to rest up, create a dynamic game plan, and come out ready to go.
Hurts also said this was the most efficient bye week he's ever had, so the sky is the limit. He and everyone else in the building knows they need to start piling up some victories. It starts with the game against the Browns, and the 26-year-old has no reason not to be dominating on Sunday.
