Mandatory minicamp is happening all around the league ahead of training camp next month. The Eagles only have one day of minicamp this year on June 10.

At the same time, several former players have joined new teams, including Haason Reddick. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have minicamp running from June 10 to June 12, and Reddick decided to show up for Day 1.

Hasson Reddick is Now Attending Buccaneers Minicamp

Reddick didn't attend OTAs for Tampa Bay, but since he's subject to fines, he decided to show up for minicamp. This is a step in the right direction for the ex-Eagle after an entire calendar year of drama. Last April, Reddick was traded from Philadelphia to the New York Jets.

His entire tenure with the Jets was a disaster from the jump. He held out of OTAs, minicamp, training camp, and even the first seven games of the season. Reddick was eyeing an extension from New York but never got that.

Instead, he had one of the worst seasons of his career. Reddick had 14 total tackles, three QB hits, two TFLs, and one sack in 10 games. According to PFF, he had a 53.5 overall grade (163rd among 211 graded edge rushers), 52.9 pass-rush grade (174th among 211 graded edge rushers), and a 56.3 run-defense grade (138th among 211 graded edge rushers).

That wasn't the player Eagle fans were accustomed to seeing on the field. In 34 career games with Philadelphia, Reddick had 87 total tackles, 24 TFLs, 49 QB hits, and 27 sacks. During the 2022 and 2023 seasons, he had 20+ QB hits, 10+ TFLs, and 11+ sacks.

He hopes to recapture that production in Tampa Bay after landing a one-year, $14 million deal that featured $12 million guaranteed.

Reddick should keep all the drama behind him and focus on the 2025 season with his new team.
