The Philadelphia Eagles front office has developed a reputation as having one of the wisest groups of decision makers in the league. Even prior to the organization's 2024 Super Bowl run, the talent and how the roster had been built pointed to a great front office. One that has enjoyed few draft misses or busts throughout much of the last decade.
However, there is one notable exception, with receiver Jalen Reagor, who was selected 21st overall in the 2020 draft and expected to be a major contributor.
This isn't how things played out with Philly growing frustrated enough after the first two seasons to turn the page. It was an undeniable bust of a draft pick that general manager Howie Roseman and the Eagles front office quickly moved away from.
Fast forward to 2025, and Reagor's career is still trending in the wrong direction.

Former Eagles WR Jalen Reagor Continues to Find Career Setbacks in Latest Landing Spot
Things haven't gotten any better for the veteran receiver, with ESPN's Kris Rhim reporting that Reagor, who's now with the Los Angeles Chargers, is now dealing with an injury and has been sent to the practice squad.
Considering how Reagor failed to crack the WR-needy Chargers' roster, it seems we are nearing the end of the receiver's career. Even now, there are more interesting options remaining in free agency if the Eagles really dealt with injuries or were put in a desperate spot. There simply isn't a market for an undersized WR who cannot be relied on.
After leaving Philly, Reagor spent time with the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots, hoping to breathe life back into his career. Frustrating results continued, and both organizations turned the page. The same will soon be the case for the Chargers, who aren't going to have any better luck at finding a fit for the pass catcher.
Even quarterback Justin Herbert and a great Chargers coaching staff aren't enough to breathe life back into a career that is quickly nearing its end. There simply isn't enough talent or speed to justify a roster spot at this stage of Reagor's career. As sad as it is for the former Eagles draft pick, it is the reality of a difficult league.
For the Eagles, there is zero reason for concern or regret with the team having quickly turned the page. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are among the best WR duos in the NFL, and that's without mentioning Saquon Barkley, who is coming off one of the most dominant seasons in league history.
Add in the potential of John Metchie and Jahan Dotson as secondary options at receiver, and it is easy to see why the Eagles remain favored in the NFC. The franchise is far removed from a player who was an undeniable bust and appears to be on his way out of the league.
