The Philadelphia Eagles are 8-2 on the season and have won six games in a row. To begin the Week 11 slate, the Eagles hosted the Washington Commanders in an NFC East showdown. They defended their home field and topped the Commanders 26-18 and now sit atop the division standings.

The Eagles had multiple players step up and play lights out in the win, and rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell was one of those guys.

His stellar performance caught the attention of Washington's Terry McLaurin.

Eagles News: Terry McLaurin Praised Quinyon Mitchell

When speaking to team reporters following the game, McLaurin heaped some praise on Mitchell, who held him without a catch.

McLaurin said, "He’s a good corner. He doesn’t really play like a rookie."

Mitchell lined up against McLaurin on 20 of his 25 routes run, holding him to zero catches. The Toledo product has been lights out this season, logging a 72.5 overall grade per PFF. He has a 78.4 passer rating allowed in coverage and has given up less than 25 yards in six straight games.

Going into this contest, McLaurin had four games with 100-plus yards but was shut down in this contest. The selection of Mitchell has looked like a home run selection for Howie Roseman and company.

They needed help in the secondary heading into the season, and Mitchell has answered the call. He's caught the attention of his teammates, and now McLaurin joins the list.

Mitchell is ten games into his NFL career and already has gotten the attention of a Pro Bowl WR.
