Eagles Super Bowl Odds Take Major Leap After Win Over Commanders
By Cem Yolbulan
The Philadelphia Eagles are on a roll. After winning their sixth straight game on Thursday Night Football against the Washington Commanders, the Eagles have taken a convincing lead in the NFC East with an 8-2 record. While Saquon Barkley's dominant performance will rightfully get most of the spotlight, the Eagles were brilliant on both ends of the field, erasing concerns about head coach Nick Sirianni.
Naturally, Eagles fans have their sight set on the Super Bowl. As their hopes of a return to the Super Bowl increase each passing week, oddsmakers have begun to share their optimism. On FanDuel Sportsbook, the Eagles overtook the 49ers for the fifth-best odds (+950) to win it all after Thursday's victory over the Commanders.
2025 Super Bowl Odds
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Kansas City Chiefs | +430 |
Detroit Lions | +460 |
Baltimore Ravens | +600 |
Buffalo Bills | +800 |
Philadelphia Eagles | +950 |
San Francisco 49ers | +1000 |
Before Thursday, the Eagles were behind their NFC rivals San Francisco at +990. A resounding win over their biggest division rivals had pushed them ahead. Now, the Eagles have the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl in the NFC behind the 8-1 Detroit Lions.
As the only undefeated team in the league, the Kansas City Chiefs are the favorites to accomplish their historic three-peat. Despite their perfect record, however, Andy Reid & Co. has looked vulnerable in multiple games this season.
The Eagles will have an excellent opportunity to further make their case to be considered a favorite when they take on the Ravens in Week 13. Baltimore currently has the third-best odds in the NFL to win the title, while Lamar Jackson is the overwhelming MVP favorite. Philadelphia going on the road to defeat another Super Bowl contender will surely do wonders for their odds, as well as Saquon Barkley's emerging MVP argument.
