The Philadelphia Eagles finally won two games in a row to improve to 4-2 for the season after the demolition job on Sunday against the New York Giants. The Eagles are finally largely healthy after A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith returned from their respective injuries.

Unfortunately, however, they lost one of their depth pieces to injury on Monday. Eagles insider Jeff McLane reported that WR John Ross suffered an injury and was placed on their practice squad injured list. This means that the veteran receiver will be out at least for the next four weeks, making his earliest possible return for Week 12 against the Rams.

Eagles News: Philadelphia Places WR John Ross on Practice Squad Injured List

Ross came out of his brief retirement to sign with the Eagles in the 2024 offseason. After failing to make the 53-man roster, the veteran receiver was signed to the practice squad in September. He was elevated to the active roster in Week 4 against the Bucs when Smith and Brown were both injured. Ross finished the game with one catch for six yards. That remains his only Eagles appearance for the season.

With the November 5th trade deadline approaching, whether the Eagles make any moves remains to be seen. Philadelphia addressed its WR3 need before the season when they acquired Jahan Dotson but that hasn't proven fruitful just yet.

GM Howie Roseman could consider making another move to add more WR depth considering the injuries to Britain Covey and Ainias Smith as well to go on a run in the second half of the season.
