The Eagles narrowly escaped against the Panthers, thanks in no part to the offense which let Philadelphia down in monumental situations late in the game.
There's plenty of blame to go around, yet QB Jalen Hurts might be the biggest barrier to this team reaching its ultimate goal. Sadly, his best WR agrees.
A.J. Brown sounded off on Hurts following the narrow win, making sure everyone knew that his signal caller isn't elite.
A.J. Brown Calls Out Jalen Hurts After Narrow Win
AJ Brown: What’s wrong with the offense: “Passing.” He was not happy, saying offense isn’t good enough right now. #Eagles

Regardless of how you feel about Hurts' performance this year, Browns' comments say everything you need to know. Hurts has been below average at best without Brown in the lineup.
Needeless to say, these comments are discouraging. The Eagles have everthing in front of them yet they haven't inspired the same level of play from Hurts that he displayed in the Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs.
“Incredibly tough”

AJ Brown says it is incredibly tough to get into a rhythm when you aren’t getting thrown the ball. AJ Brown was not targeted until the second quarter and only wound up with four targets for the game. This is the second straight game they have had under 120… pic.twitter.com/4WeVbp0KMm
Philadelphia has an excellent team but if Brown isn't happy, no one should be. Hurts is a bonafide dual-threat quarterback with major issues once he's forced to throw the ball.
There isn't any reason to believe Hurts' limitations could hurt the Eagles except for Brown's reaction. If he's this upset about his quarterback, what does that say about the rest of the roster?
Hurts will finish in the top eight of MVP voting and remains the franchise player. Even still, it disastrous to see Brown make these comments. Perhaps Nick Sirianni can right the ride in this locker room but for now, Eagles fans should be very concerned.
