Eagles Practice Brings More Bad Cam Jurgens, Landon Dickerson Injury News on Friday

The Philadelphia Eagles have spent the past week preparing for the Kansas City Chiefs. These teams are going to clash on Feb. 9 in New Orleans to determine who will be the winner of Super Bowl LIX.
The Eagles secured three straight wins at home to punch their ticket to the big game. While they are one win away from being atop the football world, Philadelphia has multiple starters dealing with some injuries.
During Friday's practice, C Cam Jurgens (back) and LG Landon Dickerson (knee) weren't presented due to injuries according to Jeff McLane.
TE Dallas Goedert (rest/ankle), RB Saquon Barkley (rest), and WR A.J. Brown (rest) also weren't present due to rest but there isn't a concern there.

Eagles News: Landon Dickerson and Cam Jurgens Missed Friday’s Practice
Jurgens injured his back sometime during the Divisional Round win over the Los Angeles Rams. That forced him to be an emergency option and the Eagles started Landon Dickerson at center.
Unfortunately, Dickerson hurt his knee and was taken out of the game. Jurgens was thrust back into action and managed to fight through the pain.
It isn't surprising that the Eagles aren't throwing these guys out on the practice field. They still have over a week before the big game and are using this timeframe to give them extra rest.
There shouldn't be panic among the fanbase just yet. The Eagles are taking the right approach with two effective difference-makers up front.
This postseason, Philadelphia is averaging 227.7 rushing yards per game with 10 rushing touchdowns. They understand they need to maintain a level of success on the ground in order to beat the Chiefs.
One of the best ways to beat that team is forcing Patrick Mahomes to stay on the sideline. Having Dickerson and Jurgens is a key way to ensure that happens.
Hopefully, this time off gives them the rest they need to suit up on Super Bowl Sunday.
