Eagles Get Massive Injury Update Ahead of Week 10 Clash vs. Cowboys
The last four weeks have been great for the Philadelphia Eagles, as they've won four games in a row. The Eagles have two divisional games in Weeks 10 and 11, with the Dallas Cowboys on the horizon on Sunday.
The Eagles are seeking to extend this win streak to five games and got some terrific injury news ahead of the contest against the Cowboys.
Eagles News: Philadelphia Has Four Main Playmakers Cleared for Sunday’s Game
Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, QB Jalen Hurts, WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and TE Dallas Goedert are all off the injury report and will play against the Cowboys.
Brown left last week's game against the Jaguars with a knee injury but participated in every practice this week leading up to the game. Smith acknowledged he hurt his hamstring in the fourth quarter against Jacksonville, which forced him to miss Wednesday's practice. He then returned on Thursday and Friday.
As for Goedert, he strained his hamstring in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns, forcing him to miss three games. This week was able to participate in all three practices.
The strangest injury was around Hurts. He reportedly had a rest day on Wednesday but on Friday head coach Nick Sirianni revealed that he was dealing with an ankle injury. That caught members of the media by surprise cause it was listed as a rest day on the injury report. Sirianni attempted to recant his statement but with this update, the Alabama product is in the clear.
The Eagles are looking to beat the Cowboys and improve to 7-2 on the season before taking on the Washington Commanders in Week 11 on Thursday Night Football.
