Despite an underwhelming performance that frustrated the home crowd at times, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Jaguars 28-23 for their fourth straight win of the season. After the win, most Eagles fans were more concerned about the injury status of their star receiver A.J. Brown. The 27-year-old playmaker left the game at the end of the first half with a knee injury before being ruled out for the second half of the game. Before exiting the game, he had two catches for 36 yards.

Eagles fans received good news from Brown early Monday morning. NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that the star WR avoided a serious injury and should be fine going forward.

Eagles News: AJ Brown Avoided Serious Injury

Brown was seen warming up at halftime before the team made the ultimate call to rule him out. So, this is not entirely surprising. More testing will follow on Monday to determine the severity of the injury but it doesn't sound like it's something that will sideline Brown.

This is great news for Philadelphia, as the Eagles are still undefeated this season with Brown in the lineup. In the three games Brown missed earlier in the season with a hamstring injury, the offense struggled immensely, failing to go over 21 points in any game. The only two losses for the Eagles this season came during that stretch.

The Eagles had signed Brown to a massive, three-year, $96 million contract extension in the offseason. If they are going to make any noise in the postseason, they need Brown healthy and at the top of his game. Eagles fans remember all too well how the 2023 playoffs went when Brown missed the Bucs game with a knee injury.
