The Philadelphia Eagles have been preparing all week for Sunday's NFL Wild Card collision with the Green Bay Packers. It's the second meeting of the campaign between these NFC contenders after the Eagles notched a 34-29 season-opening win over the Packers in Brazil.

As they prepare to replicate that Week 1 success, the Eagles have just announced a handful of roster moves before the Packers come to town this weekend.

Eagles Announce Three Rosters Moves Before Wild Card Weekend

According to Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane, the Eagles have signed offensive lineman Brett Toth to the 53-man roster. Additionally, the team has also signed wideout Joe Ngata to the practice squad while OL Jack Driscoll was added to the injured reserve with an ankle ailment.

It isn't hard to see how the Eagles' OL-related moves go hand-in-hand with each other.

Driscoll injured his ankle during Week 18's 20-13 win over the rival New York Giants. The former Massachusetts/Auburn blocker played a season-high 68 snaps in the victory, however, he'll have to wait until the 2025 season to pick up from where he left off.

With Driscoll's campaign over, Toth will get the opportunity to show what he can do on the active roster. Although the 6-foot-6 tackle-guard hybrid hasn't played a snap since the 2023 campaign, the Eagles are more than familiar with him after the Charleston, SC native played 17 games with the franchise during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Ngata, 24, has been a consistent part of the Eagles' practice squad for the last two years. Although the former Clemson Tiger has yet to appear in the NFL regular season or playoffs, he's amassed 11 receptions for 163 receiving yards in six preseason appearances for Philadelphia.

After wideout DeVonta Smith (back) missed Friday's practice, per PHLY's Zach Berman, Ngata's signing could just be the Eagles adding additional insurance.

Although Nick Sirianni's team is clearly banged up at the momentum, their outlook is still promising. The Eagles are currently FanDuel Sportsbook's 4.5-point home favorite over the Packers with just over 48 hours to go before the Wild Card festivities begin.
