The Philadelphia Eagles know how to win, simple as that, and their Week 3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams was the latest example. Despite being down 19 points, the Eagles never wavered and found a way to get the win.

During the comeback, Jalen Hurts was seen having an animated conversation on the sideline with offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. It came right after a 13-play, 87-yard scoring drive, showcasing that Hurts wanted to say something to his coach to keep this offense going.

Head coach Nick Sirianni spoke about those two on Monday and shut down any potential storyline around them. Sirianni said, "Kevin (Patullo) called the plays yesterday in the second half. But make no mistake, Jalen communicates — Jalen sees the field really, really well."

Nick Sirianni Clears up Any Kevin Patullo-Jalen Hurts Noise

Hurts is typically a calm and collected player, so when fans saw him speaking like that to Patullo on the sideline, it created some conversations. Recent comments from A.J. Brown suggesting that there are too many playmakers on this offense to play conservatively only added to this speculation.

The Eagles' offense has been underwhelming to begin this season, and it carried over into the contest against the Rams. In the first half, Philadelphia had -1 passing yards. By the end of the game, Hurts was 21-of-32 for 226 passing yards and three touchdowns. Brown, who had zero yards in the first half, finished with six catches for 109 yards and a score.

The offense turned it up a notch and actually took shots down the field, giving their talented receivers a chance to make plays. This is the kind of offense fans and the players want to see. While the Eagles have shown that they will do what it takes to win the game, the passing game needed to be a bigger piece of the puzzle than it was during the first two weeks. And it finally did. Whatever Hurts said on the sideline worked, and Sirianni wanted to make it clear that Patullo was the one who was calling the plays.

Hurts definitely put some pressure on his OC to open up the playbook, but it was the fire this group needed. After the game, Hurts was asked about the broadcast catching him being vocal on the sideline, and he said, "It was a complete team effort.. If it meant getting out of character given a situation, it's about doing it. Only thing we ever care about is finding a way to win the game."

It was clear that Hurts felt that he needed to do that to get the win, and it worked. Everyone is hoping this production carries over to next week and gives a glimpse of what the passing attack will look like going forward.
