The Philadelphia Eagles are gearing up for their NFC championship game against the Washington Commanders. After impressive victories over the Packers and the Rams, the Birds are one more home win away from returning to the Super Bowl.

The team revealed how they are preparing for the showdown on Sunday. Per team insider Jeff McLane, the Eagles will kick things off with a walkthrough on Wednesday before practicing at the Linc on Thursday and Friday. The walkthrough will be closed to media but the later practices will be partially open.

Eagles Announce Practice Schedule Ahead of Commanders Showdown

The most important thing for the Eagles at this point is to stay healthy and make it through the game without any major injuries. Philadelphia lost Nakobe Dean in the wild-card round, but the Eagles have largely had injury luck go their way so far in the postseason. The initial injury report later on Wednesday will give us a better idea of where each player is in their recovery.

Jalen Hurts and Quinyon Mitchell gave Eagles fans minor scares over the weekend but head coach Nick Sirianni recently revealed that he expected both starters to suit up against Washington.

The Commanders lost starting offensive lineman Sam Cosmi to injury during their win over the Lions. How much that will hurt their dynamic and explosive attack remains to be seen. To keep up with the high-scoring Commanders, the Eagles need to improve in the passing game on Sunday.

With better weather conditions in Philadelphia, the Eagles can hopefully get their star receivers going and get the win over Jayden Daniels and the Commanders.
