The Philadelphia Eagles are the hottest team in the NFL. They've won ten straight games after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-13 in Week 15.
The week leading up to the game, there was a bunch of chatter surrounding A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts. The All-Pro WR said the 'passing' needed to improve on the offensive side, which fueled a bunch of chatter and speculation.
After the contest against the Steelers, all that noise was put to rest. Brown finished with eight catches for a team-high 110 yards and a touchdown. Everyone wanted to see that kind of performance, but fans held their breath when Brown appeared to hurt his ankle late in the contest.
Brown spoke about it postgame but gave fans a sigh of relief.
A.J. Brown said his ankle is OK after what looked like a hip-drop tackle along the sideline late in the game.

Hope he avoids serious left ankle injury as foot not planted. pic.twitter.com/GqZDKyevIy
In the video posted on X, it looks like Brown's foot wasn't planted on the ground, which freed his leg from getting trapped under Pierre's body.
Hip-drop tackles got banned by the NFL and have been a constant topic of discussion. They have led to multiple serious lower leg injuries. Philly fans were upset that no flag was thrown on the play.
The regular season is over in three weeks, so Eagle fans want their guys to be as healthy as possible when the postseason rolls around. Last season, Brown hurt his knee in Week 18, and that caused him to miss the Wild Card contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Philadelphia doesn't want something similar to happen to their WR1 again, but it looks like Brown will be fine. This is something to keep an eye on during the week as the Eagles prepare for an NFC East showdown against the Washington Commanders.
