The Philadelphia Eagles are the only team that came out of the 2024 season happy. They secured the Super Bowl title after taking down the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 9.

While that is great, nothing lasts forever in this league and the focus continues to change. Planning for the 2025 season has begun around the league and the Eagles have made some moves. Shortly after the Super Bowl, Philadelphia signed 13 players to future/reserve deals while also letting five players go.

Now that a couple of days have passed, practice squad deals for Khari Blasingame, Ian Book, Charles Harris, Nick Morrow, and Kyle Phillips have officially expired per Aaron Wilson of KPRC2. They will hit the free agent market in March.

Five Former Eagles Will Hit Free Agency

The Eagles have a long list of key players set to hit the open market. That list includes Josh Sweat, Zack Baun, Mekhi Becton, and Milton Williams to name a few.

Howie Roseman has his work cut out for him over the next couple of months so he has no time to waste.

Blasingame signed with the Eagles practice squad in December after being cut by the Bears. He got elevated to the active roster during the regular season and postseason but the Eagles are set to look in a different direction.

As for Book and Phillips, they never made it onto the active roster. Meanwhile, Harris and Morrow both got elevated to the active roster at least once but didn't get any snaps due to the stellar play at linebacker and along the defensive front.

The Eagles have one of the best rosters in the league and will seek to retool that team for another championship run during the 2025 campaign.
