It’s safe to say that A.J. Brown isn’t a fan of the NFL right now. The star wide receiver was forced to change from his cleats during the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 3 win, which he revealed were to help his daughter spot him better on the field when he’s playing.

After this debacle, he made a plea to players around the league to revolt against the No Fun League’s stringent policy around footwear.

Now Brown is continuing his offensive by sending the league office a message in Week 4.

Brown came out in bright pink/orange cleats on Philadelphia’s first offensive drive against the Washington Commanders on Sunday. This ups the ante after the wideout wore some highlighter-green shoes this past Monday.

It remains to be seen if Brown can get away with it this time. Considering how he went even stronger this game, though, we should expect to see him back in standard colors soon — unless he’s content to be fined this week.

Whatever he has on his feet, hopefully Brown is able to replicate his Week 3 performance versus Washington. The Pro Bowl WR popped off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on MNF, recording a season-high 9 receptions and 131 yards to help Philly secure the 25-11 win. The chemistry issues that he appeared to have with quarterback Jalen Hurts earlier in the season appear to be behind them now.
