Jack Stoll, TE

A player who’s been given the best chances to crack the 53-man roster when compared to the other remaining undrafted free agents (according to Mike Kaye), tight end Jack Stoll should be feeling pretty good about his chances of sticking around moving forward. Even with the re-signing of Richard Rodgers earlier this month, the Philadelphia Eagles TE3 job is completely wide open, with the only other competition being a slew of former practice squad talent and position converts.

With Zach Ertz still unlikely to begin the 2021 season in Eagles green, the team not only needs a third tight end on the roster, but they also need to start developing someone behind the likes of Dallas Goedert, who is likely to receive a contract extension at some point this season.

The Eagles have had the luxury of possessing two solid tight ends for quite some time now, a luxury that is soon to be no longer present. Even with the team likely to build their offense around their wide receivers more instead of their tight ends, they still need at minimum two reliable pass-catchers at the position for 12-personnel sets.

As long as Stoll has a decent training camp, he should be viewed as a prime candidate to make the roster this summer.
