While we’ve known the team’s opponents for quite some time now, the Philadelphia Eagles official 2021 schedule was dropped yesterday evening. A full 18 weeks of action, here’s how it shaped up:

While it can be a rather silly exercise because nobody knows what injuries/trades may occur throughout the regular season, I thought I’d take a stab at predicting the Eagles win-loss record, week by week, based off the above mentioned graphic.

If I get these right, I’m a hero. If I get them all wrong, we forget this article ever happened. Sorry but those are the rules.

Predicting the Philadelphia Eagles 2021 win-loss record via schedule:

More from Section 215

Week 1 @ Atlanta: Loss

A lot of people seemed excited that the Eagles were getting Atlanta Week 1, but I disagree. This will be Nick Sirianni’s first game as a head coach in the NFL, and the Falcons still have Matt Ryan, who is currently better than Jalen Hurts. It’s a resounding loss for me.

Week 2 vs San Francisco: Loss

I have no clue who the 49ers starting QB will be this season, but I ultimately don’t think it matters. Their defense is elite when healthy, and they should still be healthy by Week 2. A clean 0-2 start to kick off the season.

Week 3 @ Dallas: Loss

I think the Cowboys are going to be considerably better than the Eagles this season, and this game is set to take place in Dallas. Dak Prescott should be back to his usual self following last year’s ankle injury, and the Cowboys’ receiver room is going to be a major problem. Three losses in a row, sorry!
