Philadelphia Eagles: 5 good things that happened in 2020
By David Esser
It wasn’t all bad for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020.
The 2020 Philadelphia Eagles are one of those teams that we’re all going to try really hard to forget moving forward. The team was bad, old, super not fun to watch, and full of chaos and controversy at every turn.
Ending any football season with four (maybe five) wins is never fun, but it’s even less fun when it also ends with your franchise QB on the bench and the national media making a mockery of it all.
Regardless, 2020 wasn’t all bad for the Eagles. I promise! As we gear up for the offseason, here are five *good* things worth acknowledging from the Philadelphia Eagles 2020 season:

They’re going to end with a very high draft pick.
The NFL Draft is always a super fun part to the offseason, but it’s even more fun when your favorite team is picking at the top of it.
Currently projected to be picking sixth overall, the Philadelphia Eagles get the unique opportunity of landing one of the truly elite prospects from this year’s draft process. While it’s been great watching the team make the postseason the last couple of years, picking in the 20s every single season has done them little favors in terms of building a sustainable roster.
Whether they draft a receiver, linebacker, cornerback (or maybe even quarterback?) – the Eagles first-round pick this spring will be an exciting one. It’ll be a player that is nationally regarded as a top prospect, and should in theory come in and immediately improve the team for 2021.
