These four Philadelphia Eagles are getting hot at the right time.

Despite having just four wins on the season, the Philadelphia Eagles are somehow not out of the postseason picture quite yet. Playing in arguably the worst division in NFL history, the door is still wide open for Philly to sneak their way to a home playoff game.

After a resounding upset victory over the Saints last week (led by rookie QB Jalen Hurts), it looks like the Eagles have found themselves some life here down the stretch.

We’ve seen this before, so it’s not unreasonable to imagine a scenario where Philly wins four straight against all odds, punching their ticket to the postseason for the fourth consecutive season.

With all that in mind, here are the guys who are specifically heating up right now; guys who could make that playoff appearance a possibility:

Fletcher Cox

After a fairly slow start to the 2020 season, Fletcher Cox has really turned it on here in the second half – reminding everyone that he’s still one of the best defensive tackles in all of football.

He had a sack in Week 8, Week 10, Week 11, Week 12, and Week 14, and he forced a fumble against Cleveland as well. His name is starting to become a regular again in terms of applying pressure to the opposing quarterback, and it’s having a trickle down effect on the rest of the Eagles’ defense.

With nine TFLs and 6.5 sacks through the first 13 weeks of the season, this is actually turning out to be one of Cox’s better overall seasons. A welcome sight, and one that’s primarily a result of his stellar play the last few weeks.
