Jacksonville Jaguars

After the failed Nick Foles experiment, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been in a state of quarterback limbo. They messed around with Gardner Minshew for a bit (who isn’t good), and even trotted out Mike Glennon of all people earlier this season.

The team hasn’t had a real “franchise QB” for as long as I can remember, and their poor performances year after year reflect as such. They desperately need to find an arm that they can trust to guide their organization for the next decade or so.

Currently projected to have the #2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the general consensus is that they’ll be taking Justin Fields. While that obviously makes a ton of sense, there’s an off chance that they aren’t sold on Fields, and would only take a QB if it was Trevor Lawrence.

If this is the case, bringing in Wentz as their next shot caller could be viewed as logical. Wentz is already locked up for the next couple of seasons so they don’t have to worry about him jumping ship anytime soon, and they could instead use their first-round pick on someone like Penei Sewell.

The Justin Fields route seems the most likely, but Wentz-to-Jacksonville is at least worth mentioning considering how bad the Jags’ QB play has been the last couple of years.
