The Philadelphia Eagles (unfortunately) play the Cleveland Browns this weekend.

Despite the entire city of Philly being laser focused in on the Sixers the last couple of days, the Philadelphia Eagles do in fact play a football game this Sunday.

They’ll be taking on the Nick Chubb led Browns, who currently own an impressive 6-3 record. When the 2020 schedule was initially released, plenty of Eagles fans viewed this as a winnable game. However, with Philadelphia now sat at 3-5-1, Cleveland are the ones who open as favorites.

Here are my three predictions for the Sunday afternoon affair:

More from Section 215

The Eagles are going to lose.

Getting right to the win-loss prediction, I unfortunately don’t see Philadelphia pulling this one out.

While the Browns have looked like a flawed team on multiple occasions this year (and they’ll be without Odell Beckham Jr.), the Eagles looked ridiculously bad last week.

Doug Pederson’s play-calling has repeatedly come under fire, Carson Wentz still can’t find a rhythm, the offensive line is a disaster, and the defense just got torched by Daniel Jones. The Browns aren’t a fool-proof football team by any means, and Baker Mayfield continues to look unimpressive, but Cleveland’s overall superior talent should carry them to their seventh win of the season.

Myles Garrett was just place on the COVID-19 reserve list, so that’s a break for Philly, but the Cleveland defense should still be up to the task.

Throw in the fact that the game’s taking place in Ohio, and that the cold weather will benefit Cleveland’s run-first scheme, and I could totally see Philadelphia losing this one by two scores.
