The Philadelphia Eagles need to figure out their O-Line.

As I’m writing this, the Dallas Cowboys just fell to 2-5 on the season with Ben DeNucci(?) playing quarterback. With a Week 8 showdown between Dallas and Philly set to occur next week, on paper it appears that the Philadelphia Eagles are set to run away with the lowly NFC East.

While I do believe that the Eagles are the best team in the division, and are the most deserving(?) of a home playoff game this year, I don’t think they’re in a position to be handed the divisional crown just yet.

Through seven games, the Philadelphia Eagles have had the worst performing offensive line in all of football. Carson Wentz has been sacked 28 times for 190 total yards lost, both being the highest in the entire NFL.

A lot of criticism has fallen upon Wentz, Doug Pederson, and Jim Schwartz this season, but in all honestly, a bad offensive line is just not something any team can overcome. It’s a borderline miracle that the Eagles have even won two games up unto this point.

Initial starters Andre Dillard and Brandon Brooks are still out for the year, Issac Seumalo and Jason Peters are on injured reserve, Lane Johnson is battling multiple nagging injuries, and standout fourth-round pick Jack Driscoll is down with an injury as well.

Practice squad call-ups like Jamon Brown and Sua Opeta have had to start games for the team, and it’s resulted in Wentz getting absolutely slaughtered on the football field.

With all that in mind, here are the three ways that Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles could scrape together an O-Line for the second half of the season:
