The Philadelphia Eagles should have their hands full with a star-studded LA Rams team.

After a vastly disappointing Week 1 loss to the Washington *Football Team*, the Philadelphia Eagles will get a chance to rebound this weekend against the visiting Los Angeles Rams. Doug Pederson and the Eagles have fared well against the Rams in past seasons, but these are two teams entering into the matchup coming off very different results.

The Rams thoroughly handled the Dallas Cowboys in their season opener, with star defensive tackle Aaron Donald stealing the spotlight. He was disruptive all game long, getting to Cowboys QB Dak Prescott on multiple occasions.

The Eagles on the other hand didn’t have the prettiest of 2020 debut showings. Despite spotting themselves a 17-0 lead to start the game, they allowed Washington to climb back via some very costly turnovers.

Washington’s defensive line had a field day against the Eagles depleted pass-blocking unit, and Carson Wentz spent the majority of the afternoon on his back as opposed to completing TD passes.

Despite the rough first week of action for Philadelphia, they’re getting a seriously needed boost in the ways of some injured players returning to action this Sunday.

Miles Sanders, Lane Johnson, Derek Barnett, and even Javon Hargrave are all set to make their 2020 debut, which should undoubtedly make the team’s matchup with the Rams far more interesting.

The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to sneak into the win column while the Rams are aiming to start the year off 2-0. With all that said, here are three bold predictions for the NFC showdown.
