Jalen Reagor will shine on special teams

Going into 2020, the Philadelphia Eagles wanted to get faster and younger. They needed new, young talent that they could build this team around for years to come.

With the 21st pick in the NFL Draft, they selected TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor. A prospect with elite speed and YAC ability. Reagor wasn’t looked at as much coming into the draft, mostly due to poor quarterback pla, but Reagor has talent that will translate to the NFL and make him a valuable piece in the Eagles offense in the future.

Not only is Reagor a weapon on offense, he is also a threat on special teams. Reagor returned punts in college, where he became a dangerous return man. He averaged 20.8 yards per return and took two punts back for touchdowns in 2019. With that ability, he was listed as the Eagles punt returner on their depth chart. With long time return man Darren Sproles retiring, it will be nice to have someone like Reagor back there to field punts and provide a spark to the Eagles.

As well as having a big role in the offense, Reagor will be a major piece as the Eagles punt returner, where he will have big punt returns, including taking two back for touchdowns in 2020.
