These five Philadelphia Eagles need to step up during Jalen Reagor’s absence.

It’s pretty much routine at this point in time, but the Philadelphia Eagles have once again been bit hard by the injury bug. Starting offensive linemen Andre Dillard and Brandon Brooks are both expected to be out for the entirety of the 2020 season, and now the team is also expecting their 2020 first-round pick to miss at least a handful of weeks (at best).

During a training camp scrimmage, rookie wideout Jalen Reagor was tackling a cornerback following an interception went he went down clutching his arm. Reagor was escorted off the field and into the locker room, where he would undergo MRI testing. It was revealed that Reagor had suffered a slight tear in his right shoulder, and the Eagles are currently projecting him to miss four weeks.

Four weeks doesn’t sound too bad (especially considering a torn shoulder could result in season ending surgery), but we’ve been down this path before.

Last year it was DeSean Jackson who opted out of surgery after his Week 2 abdominal tear, and he would fail to see the field for essentially the rest of the 2019 season.

Obviously we’re hoping for a speedy recovery from Reagor, as he was expected to play a huge role in this revamped Eagles offense. However, while he is sidelined with his injury, a certain group of Eagles are going to need to step up during his absence.
