4 reasons the Philadelphia Eagles will win the NFC East in 2020

They fixed their secondary.
Sure, losing Malcolm Jenkins hurts. He’s been the team’s best defensive back since he was signed and was undoubtedly the leader of the locker room. However, the collective group of DBs they brought in this offseason should outweigh his departure pretty handily.
Darius Slay might just be the best man corner in all of football, and he’s a “Jim Schwartz guy” through in through. His ability to follow team’s number one WRs finally gives Schwartz a little more flexibly and creativity in the secondary, and should prove crucial in terms of locking up guys like Amari Cooper, Terry McLaurin, and Darius Slayton.
Nickell Robey-Coleman was a super under-the-radar signing later in the offseason, but should provide Patrick Robinson-esque security in the slot. He played at an extremely high level for Los Angeles last year, and has thoroughly impressed during training camp thus far.
Will Parks and K’Von Wallace gives Schwartz two more weapons back at safety, as both have experience playing pretty much all over the secondary. They’ve each played significant snaps at FS, SS, outside CB, slot CB, and even LB in their respective football-playing careers. Even if they’re not playing at an All-Pro level, their overall versatility should prove crucial this season.
The Philadelphia Eagles secondary has been a huge talking point the last two years, and the above mentioned upgrades should do numbers in terms of improving it.
