The Philadelphia Eagles had their first live training camp practice on Monday.
Believe it or not, the Philadelphia Eagles Week One matchup with the *Washington Football Team* is now less than a month away. With action around the NFL starting to ramp up, Doug Pederson had his team put on the pads for their first real practice of training camp.
Masked up reporters were allowed into the facility to watch the practice from afar, and a plethora of storylines emerged from the Monday morning session.
Here are the three biggest takeaways from the entire practice:

Andre Dillard had a really weird practice.

A lot has been said about second-year left tackle Andre Dillard this offseason, more specifically, whether he would actually be ready for the starting LT job in 2020. He had an extremely up-and-down rookie campaign, and the Eagles re-signing of Jason Peters didn’t do much to calm any nerves surrounding the situation.
Eyes were glued on Dillard during Monday’s practice, and it went less than ideal if were being frank.
He was repeatedly pulled out of the starting group, and was seen sat on the sidelines talking to both Carson Wentz and Peters at times. On one play he was knocked to the ground, and actually seemed quite visibly frustrated.
Dillard has had emotional outbursts during practice before, so this was definitely a red flag of sorts.
After the practice, the Eagles told reporters that Dillard’s lack of involvement in the day was due to a scheduled rest, as he is apparently rehabbing an unheard of offseason injury.
Regardless, it wasn’t the calming first day we had all hoped we would see from the team’s 2019 first-round pick.
