The scariest question facing each Philadelphia sports team
On Halloween, the spookiest day of the year, it’s an appropriate time to ask what each Philadelphia sports team should be scared of the most.
Boo!
If you’re a Philadelphia sports fan, I doubt that frightened you because you’ve seen it all. Since you survived the last few years that included the horrors of Gabe Kapler and Dave Hakstol, surely you have enough of a constitution that silly little jump-scares will have no effect.
Yes, Philadelphia fans are a hearty bunch, what about the local clubs themselves? What nightmares are dancing through their heads and causing them to wake up with a soaked pillow (or worse)?

The Philadelphia 76ers are looking like serious title contenders this year. That certainly took long enough. But what if an ill-timed injury caused everything to come crashing down in an instant?
The Philadelphia Flyers are seeing some mixed results under new head coach Alain Vigneault, but how good can they actually be if their most important player and supposed franchise savior doesn’t turn out to be as good as advertised?
The Philadelphia Phillies…where to start? Things seem to be getting back on track, but how optimistic can we truly be without some sorely-needed additions to the roster?
As for the Philadelphia Eagles, I won’t waste your time by talking about the secondary or the receivers dropping passes. We all know that the weight of the franchise currently rests on the shoulders of one man.
So let’s all stop cowering under our afghans and face our fears together as we ask each Philadelphia team what scares it the most.
