4. Packers

After two years of missing out on the playoffs, and letting prime years of Aaron Rodgers go to complete waste, the Green Bay Packers are off to a hot start under Matt LaFleur.

More from Section 215

Moving on from Mike McCarthy in the middle of last season certainly drew plenty of criticism for the Packers, but also seemed long overdue for the former head coach.

With LaFleur’s history of getting the best out of quarterbacks, all eyes have been on whether this would benefit Rodgers in one of the biggest ways possible.

So far, the numbers by Rodgers may not stand out like they have in previous years, but the most important factor is Green Bay currently sits at 2-0 with big wins already over the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings.

One week after the Eagles will host the Lions, the team’s next game in Week 4 will consist of a tough road battle at Lambeau Field against a Packers team that could very well still be undefeated.

Depending on how the next few months go for both Green Bay and Philadelphia, it will be difficult not to wonder if this turns out to be an early playoff preview in the NFC playoff picture come January.
