4. Stefen Wisniewski

More than ever, protecting Carson Wentz is going to be a top priority for the offensive line since the Eagles quarterback has been dealing with injuries over the last two seasons.

More from Section 215

Not to mention, Nick Foles is no longer around as insurance to fill in if needed for Wentz, so the pressure is going to be on for the former first-round pick heading into his fourth NFL season.

The good news for Wentz is when looking at the Eagles offensive line, the unit is arguably one of the best in the NFL with the right depth to make sure they stay in great shape throughout 2019.

As for what to expect from potential roster cuts, one name that seems worth keeping an eye on is Stefen Wisniewski, who re-signed with the team back in May on a favorable one-year deal.

Still, just because the Eagles decided to bring the veteran back a few months ago doesn’t necessarily mean they have to keep him around, and the last couple of weeks have shown that could very well be the case.

After Wisniewski lost his starting job in the middle of last season, this seems like a player that Philadelphia could move on from if needed.

It may be tempting to keep Wisniewski around just because of depth, but if the Eagles decided to part ways, this wouldn’t hurt the team too much.
