5. Colin Kaepernick

Before anyone freaks out over the thought of Colin Kaepernick being on the Eagles, keep in mind the argument can be made that he would be better than the current options.

More from Section 215

Even though Kaepernick hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2016 season, this is a quarterback with starting experience who knows what it’s like to play in the Super Bowl, meaning Philadelphia should at least consider the possibility.

Yes, the Eagles could do without the controversy surrounding Kaepernick, but also if he helps put the offense in better position at backup quarterback, well this is what really matters the most.

Over the last three years, Kaepernick has been dying to receive the opportunity to play for another NFL team, and even if the chances of Philadelphia being interested sound like a long shot, anything is possible when it comes to the NFL.

Despite his disappointing 1-10 record in 2016, it should be noted that Kaepernick did manage to toss 16 touchdown passes compared to just four interceptions.

These numbers may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but as mentioned before, when looking at the other options for the Eagles, Kaepernick at least deserves some sort of consideration.
