1. Alex Barnes

If his time at Kansas State is any indication of what to expect in the NFL, the team that decides to go with Alex Barnes in the draft will most likely be quite happy with their decision.

From a statistics standpoint, Barnes was the kind of player who seems like he would improve with experience during his time with the Wildcats, and ended his career on a high note by rushing for 1,355 yards to go along with 12 touchdowns.

To top it off, Barnes had one of the best performances from running backs at the combine, and even set a record for most repetitions (34) at his position to catch the attention of any team that wasn’t already expressing interest before.

Barnes may not be considered the best running back from this year’s class since setting the record for the bench press doesn’t necessarily guarantee he’s going to succeed at the NFL level, but at least it shows potential.

With his size and strength, one can only imagine what Barnes would look like suiting up for the Eagles on a weekly basis, as he seems capable of making an impact right away as a rookie if he were to join Philadelphia’s backfield.
