2. Miles Sanders

Miles Sanders knew filling the void left by Saquon Barkley was going to be nearly impossible since the New York Giants running back is a rare kind of talent, but he certainly deserves credit for playing the way he did as a junior.

By rushing for 1,274 yards with nine touchdowns during his final year with the Nittany Lions, Sanders was already considered a running back with potential to succeed in the NFL. And after watching Sanders put on the kind of show that he did during the combine, it seems like only a matter of time before this officially happens.

If Sanders wasn’t considered a top running back before this weekend heading into the draft, that will most likely change over the next couple of weeks.

The 4.49 time recorded by Sanders during the combine certainly stands out the most on the PSU star’s end, but he certainly has plenty of other great qualities as well, whether it’s his footwork or even ability to block.

Sanders isn’t the kind of player who will solve all of Philadelphia’s issues at running back, but it would certainly help improve the situation compared to last season, no matter what else takes place in the offseason.
