Round 2: Ohio State G/C Michael Jordan

More than ever, a reliable offensive line is going to be extremely important for the Philadelphia Eagles to make sure Carson Wentz receives the necessary protection after battling through injuries over the last two years.

More from Section 215

Even if Jason Kelce and Jason Peters decide to return for another NFL season, the Eagles know these two veterans aren’t going to be around forever, which means the draft could be used to find their eventual replacements.

Finding new members of the offensive line to build a stronger ground game will be key for Philadelphia heading into the 2019 season, and if Michael Jordan‘s time with Ohio State is any indication of what his NFL career would be like, this would be worth the selection.

Like most rookies, Jordan has a few areas in need of improvement such as footwork, but hopefully this would be something the Eagles could help address if he were to come on board during the draft.

The Buckeyes have seen plenty of great offensive lineman go on to have successful NFL careers, and chances are Jordan will soon add his name to that list, assuming all goes according to plan with the hype.

Even if Jordan didn’t see as much action as a rookie while learning from the veterans, the selection seems worth it in the long run.
