Bring the same energy

These past two weeks have been the best stretch of football the Eagles have played all season. Many have credited that to the change at quarterback, but everybody on the Eagles has stepped their game up with the season on the line. Maybe this team is just better with their backs up against the wall.

Also these past two weeks, we’ve seen that same level of swagger and energy that the Eagles had last season when they were on their way to winning the Super Bowl. Is that energy the reason why the Eagles have played better, or is it a result of their better play? That is a good question that could be left up for interpretation.

The fact of the matter is that the Eagles need to come out on Sunday with that high level of energy, that underdog mentality, and continue to play like their back is up against the wall because it is.

Washington has seen their season crash and burn since these teams last met in early-December, but nothing will give them a better end to their season than knocking their division rival out of the playoff race. That is something the Eagles need to prevent.

Obviously, a lot of eyes will be on the score in Minnesota, but the Eagles can not let that distract them from the business they need to take care of. Go out and beat Washington and hopefully the rest will take care of itself.
