13. Denver Broncos

Looking back, the decision by the Denver Broncos to bring Phillip Lindsay on board was the best decision the team could have made when looking at the impact he’s making on offense, especially during Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The running game was a major issue for the Broncos at times last season, but the Broncos seem to have finally found someone reliable in Lindsay after the rookie rushed for 157 yards to go along with two scores.

All of a sudden, Denver finds themselves back in the playoff conversation after earning their third win in a row on Sunday, which also means Vance Joseph’s job may be safe after all. Back when the Broncos were sitting at 3-6, all hope seemed lost for this team having any sort of shot at competing for a playoff spot, but also if this is going to have any chance at happening, Case Keenum will need to play better as well.

Keenum has certainly come up big on numerous occasions, but when looking at the amount of money he’s making to play quarterback for Denver, the offense needs more from the veteran. The Broncos had desperately been searching for a reliable quarterback, and more than ever, Keenum needs to come through as much as possible to give those playoff hopes a fighting chance.
