7. Houston Texans

Much like the Tennessee Titans, the Houston Texans received an extra day to prepare for their Week 12 game on Monday Night Football, but baring some significant injury, or an unforeseen collapse of biblical proportions, Bill O’Brein‘s squad are without a doubt one of the seven best teams in the NFL right now.

As the proud owners of the third best record in the AFC, the Texans could effectively punch their ticket to the postseason with a win over the Titans and find a way back into the postseason for the first time since 2016.

After a total collapse in 2017 following Deshaun Watson‘s unfortunate ACL injury before he even got an opportunity to showcase his potential, the Texans have finally been able to shine with their franchise quarterback under center. The results? A 7-3 record with a chance to go to 8-3 in front of the eyes of the entire football watching world on Monday Night.

Could this be the game where O’Brein’s Lions-er, I mean Texans announce their return to form on a national stage or yet another misstep in what’s been a roller coaster ride for the best team in the state of Texas?

Needless to say, this week’s Monday Night Football is going to have serious implications not only for the fate of the AFC South, but the NFL in general.
