Philadelphia Eagles: Three keys to a Week 12 win over New York Giants
By Jake Starr
Prediction
We have come a long way since the Eagles seemed unbeatable at home. It is hard to believe, but the Eagles have now lost three straight home games. Before this season, the last time the Eagles lost a meaningful game at home was December of 2016.
A positive we can pull before this game is that the Eagles best game of the season came against the Giants, but after losing two straight games, are the Eagles going to be able to put a good game together on Sunday.
There is a strong chance that Manning torches the Eagles’ defense as he is coming off two straight impressive performances. Plus, how are the Eagles going to slow down star running back Saquon Barkley?
The Eagles are going to have to score points, and what is there to lead you to believe that they will be able to do that on Sunday? We can hope that the Eagles’ offense will be better, but there is no guarantee of that.
On offense, the Eagles should be better and need to limit their mistakes. On the other side of the ball, the Eagles are going to need to get to Manning and force some turnovers. If they can do that, then they should win this game.
This will be a close scrappy game throughout and it will come down to which team makes the late mistake. On Sunday, that team will be the Giants. Eagles win a close one.
