The New York Giants travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles this Sunday. Here are three keys to an Eagles win plus a prediction.

Last Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles played arguably one of their worst games in recent memory. Not only could their defense not stop Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, but the Eagles offense was only able to muster up seven points.

It doesn’t matter how many points they give up on defense, the Eagles were not winning that game scoring only seven points. They need to be better in all facets of the game, especially on offense where they have been very underwhelming this season.

Coming to town this weekend will be the New York Giants. In the teams’ first matchup of the season, the Eagles won 34-13 and put together their best game of the season. It was the only game this year where we can say the Eagles played a complete game.

More from Philadelphia Eagles

Sitting at 4-6, the Eagles’ odds to make the postseason are extremely low. If they want any chance in making the playoffs, they must win on Sunday. The NFC East is still within reach, but the Eagles are going to have to play better if they want any chance of capturing their second straight division title.

As disappointing as it sounds, if the Eagles lose on Sunday, they will have identical records with the Giants. That is a low blow for a team that just won the Super Bowl last season. Being on the same level as a team that went 3-13 last year is not a good place to be.
