2. Kansas City Chiefs (Play Monday Night)

When looking at how much the defense of the Los Angeles Rams has been struggling in recent weeks, one can only imagine the kind of game Patrick Mahomes II is going to have on Monday Night Football for the Kansas City Chiefs. There are no guarantees when it comes to the NFL, but all signs point to Mahomes adding to his impressive 2018 resume that has him in the running to land MVP honors if all continues to go well over the next couple of weeks.

The Chiefs knew they were taking a huge risk in the offseason when they decided to trade Alex Smith to the Redskins in order to get the Mahomes era underway earlier than expected. But when seeing how Mahomes already has 31 touchdown passes to his name heading into Monday’s meeting in Los Angeles, there’s no question Kansas City made the right decision, and has a bright future on offense.

Many expected this contest against the Rams end up being the highest-scoring game from Week 11, and the Chiefs should feel confident about coming through on their end when looking at all of the weapons Mahomes has to work with. Plus, when looking at how close the Los Angeles Chargers are keeping the race in the AFC West, Kansas City needs every win possible the rest of the way.
