3. DeVante Parker

For weeks, DeVante Parker has been one of those receivers that has seen his name in the discussion of potential players to be traded, probably due to the crowded receiving corps of the Miami Dolphins. With the Dolphins having three reliable targets in Kenny Stills, Danny Amendola, and Albert Wilson, Parker has unfortunately been the odd-man out with only eight catches to date in three games for 174 yards.

As bad as it sounds, a fresh start on a new team seems like it would be the option for both parties since no matter how much Parker tries, he’s not going to replace any of those three in the passing game when it comes to seeing more targets on offense. Sure, a team like Philadelphia may not be the best option for Parker since he would already be playing behind other players like Jeffery and Agholor, but also at least he would be in a better position to compete for targets since, as mentioned before, Matthews isn’t always reliable.

Even better, the Dolphins are in a position where they could afford to move on from someone like Parker since the offense really isn’t going to be that much different without him. The potential was certainly there for Parker over his first three NFL seasons, and at least the team’s most recent game against the Houston Texans in which Parker caught six passes for 134 yards shows can still can in fact make an impact.
