2. Demaryius Thomas

The 2018 season is slowly slipping away for the Denver Broncos when looking at how this team started off hot with a 2-0 record, only to lose five of their next six games, with the latest loss coming on Sunday to the Kansas City Chiefs. Back in the offseason, the Broncos felt confident in Case Keenum being the answer the offense had been searching for, and with a duo in Demaryius Thomas playing alongside Emmanuel Sanders to work with, it’s easy to see why.

In a way, both Thomas and Sanders seem to have finally benefitted from playing with each other since if one receives extra attention, the other can take advantage by getting open. However, when looking at the contract situation surrounding Thomas, and the speculation about how 2018 could be his final year in Denver, this is one of the main reasons why his name has been part of trade talks in recent weeks.

If the Broncos were able to even get a draft pick or two as a result of trading Thomas now instead of waiting to see how the offseason shapes out, this may be their best option. And with his experience of being a No. 1 wideout, Thomas would certainly make a great No. 2 or No. 3 option for Philadelphia on offense.
