NFL Power Rankings, Week 8: Eagles collapse in fourth quarter during loss to Panthers

28. New York Giants (Play Monday Night)
Will Monday night finally be the game in which the New York Giants earn their second win of the season? This year has been a complete disaster for the most part when looking at all of the losses along with all of the unnecessary drama surrounding Odell Beckham Jr. both on and off the field. But at the end of the day, this team simply has too much talent to go to waste.
Take a look at the team’s Week 6 meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles in which Saquon Barkley finished with 229 yards from the line of scrimmage to go along with a score, yet New York still ended up on the losing end. A game against a playoff-caliber team in the Atlanta Falcons may not seem like it would work in the favor of the Giants, but believe it or not, this team has been struggling as well, especially on the defensive side of the football.
As long as New York continues to feed Barkley the football as much as possible along with taking advantage of Beckham’s presence, they should have little trouble putting up points on Monday night. Then again, all of this depends on how Eli Manning looks under center, so it will be interesting to see how all this turns out for the Giants to top off Week 7.
