25. Oakland Raiders

Was it the feeling of desperation? Better yet, was it the pressure of Jon Gruden failing to win a single game during his first month as head coach after receiving that ridiculous contract in the offseason? Whatever it was, the Oakland Raiders deserve plenty of credit for putting up a fight the way they did against the Cleveland Browns to pull off the epic comeback when all hope seemed lost before sealing the deal in overtime.

Words can’t even describe how frustrating it has been to watch the Raiders at times this season since from a talent perspective, there’s no way this team should be sitting at 1-3 at the moment. Their decision to move on from Khalil Mack the way they did was certainly a questionable move, but even on offense, Oakland is loaded with so much talent that it was shocking to see them take until Week 4 just to earn their first win.

Playing from behind in the NFL is never easy to deal with, but the Raiders should feel confident in their chances of getting back on track since all they have to do is take things one game at a time. Derek Carr has been facing plenty of pressure to return to his MVP ways, and now would be the perfect time for the Oakland quarterback to begin doing so to put his team in a much better position for the AFC.
