5. New Orleans Saints

Watching the New Orleans Saints put up 33 points against the New York Giants in a game when Drew Brees didn’t throw a single touchdown pass shows just how special this offense truly is, especially when it comes to Alvin Kamara. After breaking out as a rookie during the 2017 season, Kamara seems to have picked up right where he left off during his sophomore campaign, and seeing him find the end zone three times during their win over the Giants to go along with 181 yards from the line of scrimmage was unreal to see take place.

On another note, the defense of New Orleans was a major reason behind the team’s playoff run last season, but the unit seemed to have taken a step back during their first three games of the year, despite earning two wins in the process. So even though the Giants have some issues of their own to figure out, the Saints should be proud to have held them to just 18 points since this game easily could have ended up the other way.

Also, thanks to some help from other teams, New Orleans currently sits on top of the NFC South all alone at the moment, although it’s not going to be that easy to keep it that way. Still, when seeing how this team started off 2018 on an awful note with a terrible loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it’s great to see the Saints back on track.
