6. Jacksonville Jaguars

Losing to the Tennessee Titans the way they did back in Week 3 was beyond frustrating for the Jacksonville Jaguars since it seemed like they would be in for an easy victory, but at least the team had a dream matchup this past weekend during their win over the New York Jets. With all due respect to the Jets, this team doesn’t even compare to the talent level of the Jaguars, and their defense must have been licking their chops over the opportunity to face a rookie quarterback in Sam Darnold.

For the most part, Jacksonville came up big against New York since they only allowed 12 points, and came through with the win, which is the most important factor. Not to mention, Blake Bortles continues to show he was the right answer for the Jaguars when seeing some of the younger receivers step up in the passing game to make his job much easier to handle.

The best chance Jacksonville is going to have at competing in the tough AFC moving forward is if players like Dede Westbrook and Donte Moncrief continue to step up. Jacksonville was always known for their defense, but Bortles and the offense could be a major difference maker when it comes to whether this team remains a serious contender.
