7. Baltimore Ravens

Losing to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3 the way they did left an awful taste in the mouths of the Baltimore Ravens since the argument can be made the team would have won if it wasn’t for their slow start. But at least when seeing the extra rest that helped them pull off a big win on the road over the Pittsburgh Steelers this past weekend, the Ravens shouldn’t feel so bad after all.

Without question, this rivalry in the AFC North is one of the best in the NFL, and when seeing the history of these two teams intensely battling it out towards the end of the fourth quarter, it was surprising to see Baltimore win by 12 points. Then again, this also shows just how talented of a team the Ravens truly are, and seeing their defense not allow a single touchdown in the second half once again shows this is one team nobody should sleep on.

Not to mention, Joe Flacco continues to benefit from an improved receiving corps thanks to key additions in John Brown and Michael Crabtree. Once fully healthy, just imagine how difficult this Ravens team is going to be to defeat the rest of the way.
